Wise Family Happenings: Dad, Heidi and Chachos

This past week has been so busy. I haven't had a chance to blog about the fabulous surprise party my family threw for me. It all started with my dad coming to visit me on Thursday. That should have been clue number one but I had been expecting him to come for a visit because he needed to come and get some things he had left at my house when he used to live with us. I was really happy to see him, he is not letting his cancer get the best of him.

Friday, Feb. 06, 2009 One of my best friends, Heidi, came to visit me. She had told me a few weeks ago that she would stay the weekend. She usually goes to Corpus once or twice a month with her boyfriend to visit his family. She said this time she was just going to have him drop her off at my house so she could spend the weekend with me and the kids. Heidi loves my kids so much and she really hates it that she can't see Lucas everyday. Since my dad was in town we decided to go to Chachos for dinner. There was a band there so we all went out to the the dance floor. You can see dad still has it, he was even dipping Heidi. Christian and Marlaine enjoyed a dance also. Robert has become the babysitter of the family, he always willingly stays home with Lucas. They like to take advantage of sleeping time. What a great evening we had. There were still no obvious clues that we were about to be celebrating my birthday.
